FISH with BROCCOLI and Garlic Sauce

Cook because you like, not because you have too.


I am not a fish fan, but I do like to cook one once in a while. Check out this new and simple recipe that can be used for every fish you want.

Ingredients for 2 dishes
  • 2 file fish - type of fish on your own taste

  • 300 gr broccoli

  • 3-4 garlic cloves

  • lemon

  • 400 gr sour cream

  • butter

  • olive oil

  • salt

  • pepper

  • oregano

  • rosemarie

Timing

Preparation time: 15 min

Cooking time: 20 min

Total time: 35 min

Preparation
  1. Wash the file fish. Then dry it with a napkin. Do the same with the broccoli

  2. Put a pot with water and let it boil so you can make the broccoli at bay-marine.

  3. Put the pan on the stove with a table spoon of butter and let it heat.

  4. When the pan is heated just add the fish, add some salt on it and pus some rosemarie right next to it for more tastier flavor. Check it from time to time not to burn. Don`t leave it to long. Just set the heat at the lowest temperature and with a spoon take some of the melted butter and put it on top of the fish. When it`s done on side just flip it and cook the other side as well.

  5. Meanwhile if the water from the pot is heated just place the broccoli on an additional bowl that goes on top of the pot and add the broccoli with salt and a bit o butter. Let it cook for 5 minutes. Depending on the stove, check from time to time if it`s cooked. Don`t let it overcook because the texture while eating will be totally different.

  6. Clean the garlic and crush it in a bowl.

  7. Add a tea spoon of oil and some salt and mix it until it becomes a pasta.

  8. Afterwords just add some sour cream and season everything with pepper and oregano. Remember to taste. *Don`t add more than a teaspoon of pepper and a table spoon of oregano.

  9. Place the fish first in the plate. Put some slices of lemon on it and squeeze a bit on top of the fish. Next to it place the broccoli and garlic sauce.
